At Staffing Kansas City, our experienced and professional staff includes Shelley Seibolt, Roses Ammon, Marie Phelan, Michelle Lee, and Alex Gearin
President/Staffing Coordinator, has been placing office support candidates within premier companies in the Kansas City area for over 20 years. She attended Fort Hays State University and Northwestern Oklahoma State University on a rodeo scholarship and eventually receiving her Masters’ Degree in Human Resources from Kansas State University. She is a Board Member of the Missouri and Kansas Search and Staffing Association, the local chapter of the American Staffing Association and National Association of Personnel Services, which supports training and ethical practices for companies in the staffing industry. She enjoys traveling with her two grown boys, Sammy & Dustin. They plan an annual adventure to try out new golf courses and play the ponies at different horse tracks. She supports her local sporting teams with Sporting KC and the Royals, but there is a special place in heart for the Dallas Cowboys. In her spare time, Shelley is still chasing cans at barrel races in KS, MO and OK on her gray horse, Susie. Otherwise, she is hanging out at home with her dogs, Isabell and Perez.
As Staffing Kansas City’s Co-Owner and VP, Sales and Marketing, Roses has been instrumental in cultivating continued growth of Staffing Kansas City’s clientele. She gives immense credit to her team of recruiters who are the best in town. Roses has over 29 years in the staffing industry. She takes great pride in helping businesses achieve success by hiring and retaining the right talent for their teams. She meets each and every client and together they determine the best plan of action to achieve their goals. A win-win-win is an absolute must. Born and raised in Kansas City, she loves spending time with her son and his wife and her family and friends. She supports various charities, but Little Sisters of the Poor is very near and dear to her heart. She attends Cure’ of Ars Church. She is an avid sports fan, enjoys doing anything outdoors especially at her “Happy Place” at Table Rock Lake.
Marie Phelan is born and raised in Kansas City. She is a KU alum with a Theatre degree. She is active in her church and school community at Cure of Ars Catholic Church. She enjoys staying fit with Fusion Fitness and her home gym where she works out with her husband. Marie started her career in Chicago in sales for a large media company. When she moved back to Kansas City, she took a contract position working part-time in the offices of Staffing Kansas City. When she decided she wanted to start her career in recruiting, she was ABSOLUTELY offered a position to stay and has been one of the elite recruiters in Kansas City since 2009. She has taken on many roles, learned new processes and has been an integral part of our team in growing Staffing Kansas City. She has an uncanny knack to introduce the best talent and fit to each company. She is passionate about partnering with small companies to watch them grow. Michelle Lee is a Recruiter and Payroll & Compliance Expert with Staffing Kansas City. She earned her Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas, ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK, Go KU!! In 1998, when Shelley and Roses decided to hang-up their own tile and start Staffing Kansas City, they enlisted the talented and experienced Michelle Lee. Michelle was living in Waverly, KS and her family was growing. She was able to work remotely and pitch in when needed in any facet. Michelle ultimately took a 10 year hiatus to raise her four amazing children. She came back to work full time for Staffing Kansas City in 2012. She still drives an hour to and from work each day to be able to enjoy the open spaces of the country and the friendly hometown familiar faces. She and her family enjoy entertaining, cooking and planning fun travel or stay-at-home activities. As a recruiter, Michelle purely enjoys “helping people”. She is kind, competent and altruistic in building trust with her candidates and clients. She is an avid listening and learner. She listens to each candidate and client to find the right person for the right position. She still gets a genuine thrill EACH TIME a successful placement it made. She also tunes in to HR webinars and researches labor laws and compliance issues. If you have a question, ask Michelle. If she doesn’t know, she will find out for you. Alex Gearin is a Recruiter at Staffing Kansas City. Born and raised in Kansas City, she is a Pitt State Alumni and has her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. With over eight years’ experience in the medical and aesthetics fields, she developed strong recruiting, patient support, and clinical supervision skills. She has a passion for helping people achieve their goals and enhance their well-being by finding the right career opportunity! She loves spending time with her friends, family, and golden retriever. Whether it’s traveling, going to the lake, or Chiefs games, she doesn’t miss a beat! She is always looking for a new challenge where she can leverage her recruiting and clinical skills to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to a dynamic and innovative team. She continues to contribute to the success of the business by networking and team building, she has never met a stranger!
